SANKOFA SURFCLUB
An editorial feature on surf, community and perspective — told through images and words.Founded in 2024, the Sankofa Surf Club is tucked away in a small fishing village in Ghana, hidden behind palm trees and bumpy roads, far from the noise and rush of the city. The club gives the younger generation access to surf coaching, regular training sessions, trips, and shaping workshops. We spent a few days with some of its members, who invited us into their world and spoke about equality, ambitions, needs, and — above all — how this sport connects them all.
